Every year, we get the kids to make a homemade gift to accompany a store-bought gift for their teachers. With a personalised homemade gift, we thank the teachers for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. This year, we decided to make small bottles of hand sanitisers, so that the teachers can carry it with them as they teach, and keep themselves safe from all kinds of viruses.

We bought heart-shaped squeeze bottles, with attached carabiner. The kids filled up the empty bottles with hand sanitiser liquid. To make it more attractive, the kids added confetti stars into the bottles.

The kids then decorated the bottles with Christmas-themed stickers (from Daiso), and wrote personalised notes for each teacher. We helped to tie the Christmas tags to the carabiner with festive-coloured ribbons.

Aren't these heart-shaped, Christmassy bottles of hand sanitiser cute? The kids had a fun time making these gifts and it was simple enough for them to complete on their own. We hope the teachers will like this little practical gift from the kids. =)

Tips to get the best value out of this...

- We bought the heart-shaped squeeze bottles from Shopee

- We learnt that the coloured stars lose their colour when they come into contact with alcohol, which is found in the hand sanitiser, so we only used the non-coloured silver stars.
