We made it to the zoo to see the Brickosaurs exhibit! The kids enjoyed seeing the amazing LEGO dinosaur structures. The primary schooler was able to read the signboards that described each structure, and the number of bricks and man-hours required to build it. At each LEGO structure, he asked if we could buy enough bricks for him to try building a dinosaur structure. 😅 We had to tell him nicely that it would be too much to build a dinosaur structure in our home, without quashing his creativity.

Nevertheless, it was a great experience for both dinosaur-loving kids. The activities, such as digging for dinosaur bones, were extremely well-received by the kids. For once, we didn't have time to see the animals at the zoo, but spent most of our time 'chasing' dinosaurs. If you have not visited the Brickosaurs exhibit at the Zoo, it might be time to bring your kids there.

Tips to get the best value out of this...

- We have prepared an easy 'Spot it' worksheet for parents to print out before heading to the exhibit. Even if your kids are not big fans of dinosaurs, they would be excited to look for all the dinosaurs on the activity sheet! Simply go to our homepage and join our mailing list (bottom of the homepage), and we'll send the 'Spot it' pdf file to your mailbox, for you to print out before going to the zoo.

- Our favourite animal show is the Splash Safari show, featuring a sea lion with its fun-loving antics. It's a hit with both young and older kids! Showtimes are at 10.30am and 5pm. Bookings for seats open 2 hours before the show. Due to the limited capacity, make sure you book your seats early. (We were left disappointed when the seats were fully booked 1 hour before the show.)
