Calling all parents and children who are huge LEGO fans: there is a free LEGO exhibit at the Ion Orchard art gallery that will run for 3 weeks! The Playful Critic went to check it out, in order to share with you details about the exhibit.
With only about 25 LEGO exhibits in this small gallery, it is not a Legoland. But without the chance to travel overseas, this exhibit is the closest one can get to seeing incredible LEGO creations. This experience is recommended for primary school children, who love playing with LEGO and would be intrigued by the detailed and mind-blowing LEGO sculptures.
Be prepared to spend anywhere between 1/2 to 1 hr, depending on the attention span of your child. Older kids might linger longer at each LEGO piece, trying to figure out how to reproduce it when they get home.
Overall, SGBRICKFEST 2021 is a no-frills, enjoyable, and inspiring experience that LEGO enthusiasts, both young and old, should not miss!
